The organization
ViaNorm was founded on the initiative of, among others, the organizations of BOVAG, Transport en Logistiek Nederland (TLN) and Veilig Verkeer Nederland (VVN).
These organizations are, together with the RAI vereninging (RAI) represented in the board of directors of the Foundation ViaNorm, the sole shareholder of ViaNorm Holding B.V.
In 2000 ViaNorm was established through a merger of foundation NoRM, Viaborg BV and Veiligheidsinspecties VVN BV. ViaNorm had received accreditation by the Dutch Accreditation Body: Raad voor Accreditatie (RvA)
